Wanda was given a diary from her Grandma on her sixteenth birthday.  While cleaning out the garage at the Chipeta  house, Z found it.  Here is a little slice of Wanda's life in 1945 and 1946, growing up on a peach farm in Colorado.

Dear Diary,

At 6:30 this fine morning, the telephone jingled merrily down the stairs and when I got there, I couldn't talk.  It was from Johnnie in the Jct.  Was I flattered  Gee, he's a swell kid.  Took care of the Dennison kids in the evening.  Merry night.
